FLORIAN MITCHELL DAVIS, JR. was born June 5, 1958 in Hillsboro, Oregon, the son of Florian E. Davis, Sr. and Karen (Cooper) Davis. He was raised and received his education in the Forest Grove community, having been a graduate of the Forest Grove High School, Class of 1976.
He had worked in the cabinet manufacturing industry and was currently the President of F & C Cabinets in Forest Grove, where he has worked for the family company since his youth.
Florian was a member of the Safari Club International. Among his special interests he enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.
Florian was preceded in death by a sister, Robin Staudmier.
Survivors include his daughter, Kasey Davis and his son, Drew Davis, both of Banks, Oregon; his loving girlfriend, Kellie L. Hainline, of Banks, Oregon; his former wife, Jeannene Ellingsburg, of Gaston, Oregon, who remained his close friend; his father and step-mother, Florian M., Sr. and Marilyn Davis, of Forest Grove, Oregon; his mother, Karen Burke, of Portland, Oregon and her family; his four sisters and a brother-in-law, Debbie and Rex Behmke, of Forest Grove, Oregon; and Rhonda Zimmerman, of Forest Grove, Oregon; Cindy Davis and Kelly Fryer; and his three brothers and a sister-in-law, David and Leann Davis, of Forest Grove, Oregon; and Clinton Davis, of Forest Grove, Oregon and Robert Staudmier.
Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that remembrances may be made to the Oregon Health Sciences University, c/o Cancer Research, 3181 S.W. Sam Jackson Park Road, Portland, Oregon 97201-3098, in his memory.
